A journey of growth, innovation and transformation

From Vision to Reality

Our journey began in 2011 when three experienced business leaders – Ahmet Yilmaz, Sarah Johnson, and Mehmet Kaya – recognized a significant gap in Turkey's business landscape: the absence of high-quality, internationally-informed coaching services tailored to the unique challenges of the Turkish market.

Having witnessed the transformative power of professional coaching in their own careers, they founded Business Coaching Turkey with a clear vision: to bring world-class coaching methodologies to Turkish businesses while honoring the cultural nuances and specific challenges of the local business environment.

What started as a small practice in Antalya quickly gained recognition for its results-driven approach and deep understanding of both global best practices and local business dynamics. By 2014, we had expanded to Istanbul and Ankara, growing our team to include certified coaches from diverse industry backgrounds.

Our international accreditation in 2016 marked a turning point, as we began forming partnerships with global leadership development organizations and serving multinational companies operating in Turkey. Today, we're proud to be Turkey's premier business coaching firm, with a team of 25 coaches serving over 100 organizations across Turkey, Europe, and the Middle East.

With over 25 years of executive experience in multinational corporations, Ahmet brings a wealth of practical leadership wisdom to our coaching practice. He holds an MBA from INSEAD and multiple international coaching certifications.

Sarah Johnson

Director of Coaching

Sarah oversees our coaching methodology and quality standards. With a background in organizational psychology and 15 years in leadership development, she ensures our coaching services remain innovative and effective.

Mehmet Kaya

Head of Research

Leading our research initiatives, Mehmet combines his academic background in business psychology with practical business experience. He has published numerous papers on leadership effectiveness in cross-cultural contexts.

Zeynep Demir
